We encourage all delegates to attend the conference in person. However, if you are not able to attend, elements of the conference will be made available virtually. More information will be made available soon.
The conference will also be securing discounted hotel rates on behalf of Trauma Delegates. You will be able to book your accommodation when you register for the event. More information will be made available soon.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if the event is cancelled due to COVID?
At this stage, if there is a COVID outbreak and the conference is not able to go ahead face to face, the conference will move 100% virtual. This would mean, delegates will get a partial refund back and will still be able to attend the conference virtually.
What happens if the event is postponed due to COVID?
The committee will give delegates an opportunity to roll over their registration to the new dates or will offer a full refund.
What if I cancel? (Not COVID related)
Our standard cancellation terms will then be applicable. We require cancellation in writing. Cancellations received between April 2021 and Monday 9 August 2021 will be issued a full refund minus an administration fee. Any cancellations from 10 August 2021 up to the conference will be liable for the full cost.
The committee will endeavour to be as flexible and understanding as possible for attendees and will look at cancellations (non-COVID related) on a case-by-case scenario.
Should I get travel insurance?
If you are travelling for the conference, we highly recommend you get travel insurance. The conference will not be responsible for any issues that arises with individual delegate travel.

All cancellation or alterations must be put in writing to the Trauma 2021 Secretariat at email@example.com. A cancellation fee of $100 will apply to registrations cancelled before Monday 9 August 2021. No refunds will be made after this date.
