Trauma 2024 Conference:

Improving the Patient Journey

The Australian & New Zealand Trauma Society (ANZTS) Annual Conference held in conjunction with the Queensland Trauma Symposium will be at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on 24th – 26th October 2024.

The conference has a new theme and scientific program that will inspire and engage trauma professionals across our two nations and further afield.

We will be discussing ways we can improve all parts of the patient journey by looking at new techniques and methods across all craft groups; trauma service models and trauma systems.

With an holistic approach we will consider medical, nursing and allied components of care; the transitions between services and how all these elements interact to benefit patients, their families and the community as a whole. Our membership is broad and there will be something for everyone!

Delegates can expect a number of specialised pre-conference workshops, renowned international and national speakers, concurrent sessions organised into themes for a streamlined conference experience, as well as peer-reviewed oral and poster presentations from medical specialists and junior doctors, to nursing, paramedic, allied pre-hospital health professionals, and trainees. There will also be plenty of opportunities for networking and celebration with Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner scheduled in the program.
