The Australian & New Zealand Trauma Society (ANZTS) Annual Conference 2026 will be held at the Hilton, Sydney, Australia.
The ANZTS Trauma 2026 Conference theme, Trauma in a Changing World, will explore the evolving challenges, innovations, and future directions in trauma care and trauma systems. Bringing together trauma professionals from across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond, the conference will examine how global change, emerging technologies, shifting patient demographics, disasters and advances in clinical practice are shaping the delivery of trauma care. Through a dynamic scientific program, delegates will engage with leading research, multidisciplinary perspectives, practical education, and collaborative discussions designed to inspire innovation and strengthen trauma care outcomes across our region.
Taking a holistic approach, the program will explore medical, nursing, and allied health components of trauma care, with a focus on transitions between services and how these elements work together to benefit patients, their families, and the wider community. With a diverse and multidisciplinary membership, the ANZTS Conference offers something for everyone.
The pre-conference workshops, including the Multidisciplinary Trauma Forum and Critical Decision Making in Trauma Workshop, will be held on Thursday 15 October, followed by the main Conference on Friday 16 October and Saturday 17 October 2026.
Delegates can look forward to a comprehensive program featuring renowned national and international speakers, specialised workshops, themed concurrent sessions, and peer-reviewed oral and poster presentations spanning medical specialists, junior doctors, nurses, paramedics, allied health and pre-hospital professionals, and trainees.
The program also includes plenty of opportunities to connect with colleagues, with the Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner providing opportunities for networking, celebration and collaboration throughout the Conference.
