The Australian & New Zealand Trauma Society (ANZTS) Annual Conference 2026 will be held at the Hilton, Sydney, Australia.
The conference theme will be announced soon, alongside a dynamic scientific program designed to inspire and engage trauma professionals from across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.
Taking a holistic approach, the program will explore medical, nursing, and allied health components of trauma care, with a focus on transitions between services and how these elements work together to benefit patients, their families, and the wider community. With a diverse and multidisciplinary membership, the ANZTS Conference offers something for everyone.
The Scientific Committee is currently designing the program and we are delighted to share that the pre-conference workshops (including the Multidisciplinary Trauma Forum and the Critical Decision Making in Trauma Workshop) will be held on Thursday 15 October, and the Conference will be held Friday 16 October and Saturday 17 October 2026.
Delegates can expect a number of specialised pre-conference workshops, renowned international and national speakers, concurrent sessions organised into themes for a streamlined conference experience, as well as peer-reviewed oral and poster presentations from medical specialists and junior doctors, to nursing, paramedic, allied pre-hospital health professionals, and trainees. There will also be plenty of opportunities for networking and celebration with Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner scheduled in the program.
