Call for Abstracts

On behalf of the Australasian Trauma Society and the Queensland Trauma Symposium we invite you to submit an abstract for the Trauma 2022 Conference: Changes, challenges and solutions in current trauma care being held from 1 to 4 September 2022 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The Scientific Committee will accept abstracts related to all aspect of physical injury prevention or treatment, including:

  • Trauma system development
  • Road safety and injury prevention
  • Trauma coagulopathy
  • Shock management 
  • Trauma education and training
  • Spinal injuries
  • Family violence
  • Special groups; elderly, pregnancy
  • Paediatrics
  • Resuscitation
  • Rehabilitation
  • AI and Horizon Technology
  • Mental health after trauma
  • Mass casualties and disaster management
  • Brain injury
  • Pre-hospital issues
  • Acute and trauma surgery
  • Radiology
  • Orthopaedic trauma
  • Rural and isolated area trauma
  • Other trauma-related topics

Please submit your abstract online no later than 5pm AEST, Monday, 9 May 2022 via the submission portal (Currinda).

Extended until 5pm AEST, Monday, 16 May 2022

Abstracts may only be submitted via Currinda and will not be accepted by fax, email, or post. The Trauma 2022 Professional Conference Organiser will notify all abstract submitters of acceptance via email in mid June 2022.
