Abstracts are invited for the Trauma 2021 Conference, being held from 10 – 12 September 2021 (including pre-conference workshops on 9 September 2021) at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Queensland, Australia.
Trauma 2021 will accept abstracts related to all aspect of physical injury prevention or treatment, including:
- Trauma system development
- Road safety and injury prevention
- Trauma coagulopathy
- Shock management
- Trauma education and training
- Spinal injuries
- Family violence
- Special groups; elderly, pregnancy
- Mental health after trauma
- Mass casualties and disaster management
- Brain injury
- Pre-hospital issues
- Acute and trauma surgery
- Orthopaedic trauma
- Rural and isolated area trauma
- Other trauma-related topics
Please submit your abstract online no later than 5pm AEST on Wednesday, 30 June 2021 via the online submission portal
Abstracts may only be submitted online through Currinda and will not be accepted by fax, email, or post. The Trauma Professional Conference Organiser will notify all abstract submitters of acceptance via email by end of July 2021.
Important: All authors accepted to deliver a presentation, or a poster must register for the conference and pay the applicable registration fees.
Please note: The submitting author (if different to the presenting author) will be the one linked to the abstract and will receive all relevant information via email. It is the submitting author’s exclusive responsibility to ensure that all relevant emails are passed onto the presenting author and any other relevant parties.
All oral and poster abstracts will be judged by a committee at the conference and abstract prizes will be awarded at the conference dinner.
